Why did Follett Educational Services acquire ABS?
We understand how important it is for you to get the books you need, when you need them, at affordable prices.  We’ve nearly doubled the size of our textbook inventory to provide you with unparalleled access to the highest quality pre-owned textbooks.

How is the combined company structured?
All ABS operations will be transitioned into Follett Educational Services facility in Woodridge, Illinois. One of our highest priorities is to ensure that the transition is seamless and easy for our customers.

As an ABS customer, how will this affect my ABS account?
Follett’s acquisition of ABS will mean added convenience for you. Your ABS account will be transitioned to Follett Educational Services. Now you’ll need to place only one call to fill your pre-owned textbook and supplemental needs, to place an order, or to sell your excess textbooks.

As an FES customer, should I expect any changes to my current service from FES?
No. It will be business as usual for all FES customers. You can count on us to provide the personalized service, product selection, quality and outstanding value you’ve come to expect. Plus, our significantly expanded inventory will make it even more likely that we’ll have the books in stock that you need, when you need them.

Why are you restoring service to the ABS web site?
We understand that different people have different preferences for the way they like to shop and may prefer one site to the other. All orders will still process and ship through FES.
